Gym Log : Perfect Month Edition!

 I did it! I closed all of my rings this month. I worked out each day and mostly stuck to my diet.

Sadly, when I got to the gym my watch screen was not working properly. I had to pair and unpair my watch to get the display working. I was on the elliptical working out while servicing my watch so I lost around 20 mins or so worth of elliptical credit. I was able to do 20 more mins on the elliptical and let that get counted. 

I also tried a different indoor cycle bike, the one that is a little bit more reclined. I like it a lot more than the bike I have at home because the seat has a back rest. I did 40 mins on this bike and burned almost 300 calories. 

This month has been a lot of fun for me and I totally can see changes in my body. It has been a very positive thing in my life and I look forward to doing more. I had some setbacks with the scale - so I do remind everyone to just stop weighing themselves if they're going to get into this. 

I rewarded myself with some new shoes from adidas and a few more gym outfits. I am excited to continue.

 Today I started off by taking Catie for a walk in her stroller, I wanted to see if she would let me jog her stroller but she did not want me to go too fast. After awhile she ended up starting to fall asleep so I headed back home to put her down. My light jog was around 15 mins or so, off and on. I did do some hills though so my watch counted it as fitness.


After that I headed to the gym and was able to do 45 mins on the elliptical and around 15 mins of weight training. I am starting off slowly with the weight training but I want to make sure my arms look nice. I did a few presses and I worked on my abs.

 Today I did 30 mins of Indoor Cycle.


After not going to the gym yesterday it felt good to be back into working out. Tomorrow I will do more but I did not want to press myself.

Digital Scale Nightmare.

 Okay, so I know I'm not supposed to be weighing myself super often or anything but I have been. My scale is just an amazon basics digital scale and I have always hated it - not for any reason of the scale - I just hate the number it shows when I get on it.

Anyway, last night I was doing my usual and I weighed myself before getting into the bath. The device told me I was 0 pounds - not bad, obviously. I laughed and then I got on it again after removing the batteries and putting them back in - it said I was like 10 pounds heavier than the previous day. Not possible, but it still really hurt my feelings. I moved it around on the floor and it continued to flash between 0 and .... way more than that. 

I guess I'm just going to remove the scale and only weigh myself at the gym or something because that killed any confidence I have left inside. F

 Today I was unable to go to the gym because I went to the beach with my family. Thankfully we did a lot of running and walking so I was able to close my rings without even trying. We had a wonderful time.

I will miss the beach when it is too cold to go.

I didn't get a chance to head to the gym until 5, but the gym was closed. They close at 5 on the weekend. That kind of sucks, but oh well.

I decided to attempt to go for a run with Fry - he's an awful running partner but we did around a 35 min jog. He pulled me around a lot and stopped in front of me and stuff. He's going to need some training if we are going to do this regularly.

Because my run wasn't the most successful I also did around 30 mins on my bike.

I did manage to burn quite a few calories but honestly I ate a lot today so I don't know if I made a dent. I did not go over my daily calories, but it's not like I was way under or anything. Boo.

Today I had to take it easy, I wasn't feeling very well. Not... Sick, just uncomfortable. I think I will have to take a break from the elliptical for just a few days - but I'll get back on it shortly. 

I did around 10-15 mins of weight sets - some on the ab machine and some on the arm press. I definitely was able to do more sets on the arm press than before. I wasn't able to do many ab presses, it was kind of painful and my tummy hurt. 

After that I walked on the treadmill for 45 mins on an incline. I didn't run or anything, just a brisk walk.

I still enjoyed going even if it wasn't my best workout. This weekend I will mostly focus on some weight excersies and walking on an incline. 

Still not giving up! Only a few days to go until I hit perfect month :)

I did a pretty hard workout today.
- 35 min elliptical
- 15 min weight machines (abdominal press & shoulder press)
- 10 min stair stepper 

I still can't go any longer on the stair stepper. I get so winded and sweat everywhere. It's disgusting but I guess it's working. I'll do a normal 10 min on there a few times a week to get used to it.

Tonight I was leaving the kitchen and Fry was laying in the way. I stepped over Fry and I noticed Zap was about to run under my foot. To avoid crushing my dog I went face first into Catie's high chair and down on my knee.

Today Cameron had to go into the office and I did not get time to go to the gym until later. I normally go to the gym in the early afternoon, but today I went around 5pm.

The air conditioning definitely was not working properly at the gym and I was NOT into it. I still did around 40 mins on the elliptical but it was ROUGH.

 I'll be honest - today I had kind of a rough time staying focused on my workout. I was still able to do 60 mins on the elliptical but I kept hoping it would be over soon.

I don't think I will eat right before going to the gym again. I didn't enjoy that.

Today was a super big day - I really worked hard today to make up for the last two days. I went to the gym when Catie took a nap and I got on the elliptical for at least an hour. I burned almost 500 calories.

Then, later tonight I even had time to do a 30 min cycle. I am feeling very good. I think I will do the 1 hour elliptical more often and then next week I can move it up to level 2.

I can see progress. I hope it keeps going. We are almost through the month and I am hoping to make this a full sweep - close rings every single day until February 2021. 

My Lose It app says I should meet my body goal by May 2021. I really hope that's true. I am excited to see how this goes. I wish I wasn't so tempted by junk food. I absolutely love trash fast food. I have not yet gone over my daily calories yet this month - but I've definitely had some fast food. I really hope to cut that down. It's not helping my stupid gallbladder, either.

Forgot some Gym Logs

I forgot to post some gym logs again - my bad! I’ve had a busy few days with Catie’s birthday. I also have been having some gallbladder woes, so my workouts have to stay light while I’m having attacks. Super lame - but I still completed them. 

On 09-16 I was able to go into the gym.
- 30 mins stair stepper (whew)
- 40 mins elliptical 

On 09-17 I was unable to go to the gym because Cameron had to head into the office.
- 45 mins Cycle

Today I was unable to go to the gym because of my gallbladder. It was very painful all afternoon. I thought about sucking it up and going, but I do not want to get injured. I will definitely pick back up tomorrow.
- 30 mins Cycle

I am currently down to 165. I started at about 169. I’m pretty proud of myself and my body does look different. I am glad to see some progress. I have a ton to go.

I forgot to post yesterday's gym log - I'm super proud of the work I did yesterday and I forgot to post!!

I did 15 on the stair stepper without getting totally winded.
I did 45 on the elliptical without feeling tired.

I am so proud of this progress. It's a huge deal to me. I couldn't even do 5 mins on either of these machines a week ago.

Today Cameron had to go into the office and Catie went to bed too late for me to try to get to LA before the gym closed. 

I did 2 30 min rides on my cycle bike.
I feel great, but I also didn't keep up my food deal.

I'm coming in under my daily goal... But not by much.
Tomorrow is another day.

Catie decided to get up at 5am so while everyone was taking a nap (9am) I headed into the gym. I followed the same pattern I have been - 30 min elliptical on trainer mode and 40 or so on the treadmill on trainer. I also did 3 sets of 5 on some machines for arms. 

I did 274 calories on the elliptical and 201 on the treadmill.

I’d like to do longer stretches on the elliptical but I don’t want to burn myself out - so for now I’ll stay at 30. Next week I’ll bump it to 45 and more arms.

Today I went into the gym and did 30 mins elliptical and 30 mins doing the training on treadmill. I also did 5 sets of 5 for arms.

I could not lift as much as I had hoped.
I feel great after my workout.

Today Cameron had to head into the office so I had limited options. I decided to do a chill day because I went pretty hard on myself yesterday and I will again tomorrow.

Today I did 45 mins on my cycle bike. It was honestly pretty tough because I moved up resistance. I wasn't as winded as normal but it wasn't easy.

I did close my rings so that was good. Looking forward to my workout tomorrow.

To our amazing fans -

It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.

Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.

Today I had a great workout and I'm starting to see progress!
I was able to do 30 mins on the elliptical and not get winded. I was able to work on controlling my heart rate (thanks to the internet.)

After that I did a training workout on the treadmill. 

I feel really great!

Today I went to the gym for a little over an hour.

I wanted to introduce the elliptical, so I did around 15 or so mins on that. Unfortunately my heart rate was going up too high so I didn't do more on there because my body just isn't used to anything like that - at all. I'll start doing more and more as I get more used to it.

After that I did around 45 mins on the treadmill. I do the training mode where the incline goes up and down or whatever.

Then I did 15 mins rowing. I really like the rowing because my arms are pretty yucky. 

I felt really good about it but we wanted to try that Travis Scott McDonalds meal so all of that work went away really fast. 

Tomorrow I will do it all again - minus the TS meal.

Today was labor day so I figured the gym would be pretty crowded. We drove out to Neskowin so the gym would be closed by the time we left and came back. (That's the nice way of saying I didn't go.)

When we got home I was able to do 15 mins hard cycle and the 20 min workout on Whitney Simon's youtube. 

I didn't get a ton of time today considering I had to make dinner and we had to take the gazebo down. I was very careful with what I ate today figuring I wouldn't get much time.

Tomorrow I will head back to the gym. I'm starting to add in elliptical and rowing.

Today I was a little paranoid to go to the gym considering it's a holiday weekend. I decided to give myself a little rest day and do 45 mins on my indoor cycle bike at home.

I kept pretty strict to my diet though and I'm under my daily amount by 200 or so calories. 

Bought more stuff for some clean eating this week. I will likely go back to the gym tomorrow because I don't think that many people will be there mid day on a holiday. Could be nice.

I'm having too much fun and it's not like I have a whole lot else to do. This is such a fun game and I'm only 2 hours or so into it.

Today I jogged on the treadmill for an hour and then spent around 15 mins doing the rowing machine. I am terrible at my row form so I think I will ask a trainer or something next time I go. My arms feel pretty good but my legs are very angry about my sudden lifestyle change.

Tomorrow I might do another light day because my legs are still extremely sore. I'm trying not to go too hard on myself but I'm pretty excited to get back into shape.

Next week I think I'm going to start using the real weight machines and get some time on the elliptical but I always get very winded when I do that. I don't want to push myself and get scared. We'll see.

Status Update

 Wow, okay Taco Bell - kick me while I'm down.

Gym Log!

 Today I wasn't able to actually go to the gym, but I was still able to get in my workout. Cameron had to go into the office so I had to stay home with Catie - no big deal!


I decided to switch it up and go a little bit harder on myself this time. I followed along for the first time with Whitney Simmons on youtube, it was super hard but I feel pretty good.

It's 20 mins of home workout. It's hard. I'm not kidding.


After that I did around 25 mins on my indoor cycle bike. It felt horrible after my workout but I'm glad I powered through it. It was worth it.

 Today I was able to close my rings 200% - not a super huge accomplishment because I have it set to the lowest setting. (haha)


I did an hour on the treadmill and 5 mins on the stair stepper.
I can only do 5 mins on there for now, it's extremely hard for me considering in quarantine I haven't been moving around a lot.

This will get more exciting... eventually.

 Was able to close my rings, 150%. 

I spent an hour on the treadmill and it was pretty hard coming from just sitting around.

I really like my gym - it's just an LA fitness but it's really nice.


I'm going to watch some videos on youtube and do my best to follow them. Yikes.
