These last few days have been extremely complicated and depressing, but the lovely staff at DoveLewis Animal Hospital were able to take a tragic event and give care to not only my pigs, but me. They were respectful and they offer a ton of support options to people struggling with the loss of their pets. They really took a unique situation and made it a lot easier.
I would highly recommend going to them for any medical care for your pets.

Earlier today : “aw mom don’t worry about me! I’m doing great!”
Later this evening : “hey internet! I’m gonna cut my bangs and I know I do it wrong every single time... wanna watch me fuck this up live?!”
Internet : “hell yeah!!”
Me: “let’s do it!!!!!”
Mall parking rant : y’all should let me park wherever I want because you’re lucky I showed up in the first place AND I don’t even really super wanna be here getting trampled over all day BUT HERE I AM. Y’all should get a valet for me and give me a hug and a coffee for what you’re putting me through. I had to get up even earlier to be here and the coffee line was too long so I had to skip out on it JUST because I gotta walk 900 years in the rain to get somewhere for your customers and I’m gonna SMILE AT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ALL DAY until I gotta walk 800 years back to my car in the dead ass dark by myself in the cold. I KNOW THESE CUSTOMERS CAN WALK BECAUSE THEY RUN ME OVER WITH THEIR STROLLERS AND TRAMPLE ME AND PRETEND I DONT EXIST SO IM PRETTY DAMN SURE THEY WONT MIND WALKING A LITTLE FURTHER TO THEIR CARS.

“..... the iPad background is the iconic picture of Tom from MySpace.... repeating over and over...”

I love how the ER doctors called me 2 days later to tell me I have an emergency. Yeah dudes, I know. Also, thanks for the flu like symptoms from your waiting room. 💀
After two weird trips to the ER, I used the Zoom+ Care app and texted back and fourth with a doctor who made me an emergency appointment to meet with a doctor closest to me. Not only did this doctor listen, look at my previous records and run multiple tests right on site - they had a team of doctors come up with my next steps and filled my prescription right on the spot. They did not treat me like just some young person looking for drugs, they listened and genuinely cared about my issues. They did not treat me like my issue was not an emergency, but they also made me confident it will be resolved with care. They have tons of different types of doctors all in the same buildings, they have tons of locations in and around Portland. They even set me up with a primary care and specialists for my back. You can make all of your appointments online or via the app, you can also text/FaceTime a doctor if you can not leave home.
Amazing resource and team! If you ever need urgent care or a new primary doctor, give it a try!
They were able to see huge things that the hospital ignored!!! If you don't feel well and know something is wrong always get a second opinion!!!!
When you're in the ER and the nurse says later she needs help with her iPhone. 😂
